The project!

As a Purchase Order Management Intern you will support the Product team in tasks related to purchase order management, tracking, and ensuring timely product delivery in the specified quantity, both for sampling and production. 

 

What will the role entail?

  • Assist in processing purchase orders and tracking order statuses to ensure timely
    delivery of goods and services.
  • Support the procurement team in maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and pricing.
  • Participate in the evaluation of supplier performance and provide insights for
    improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and ensure
    alignment with inventory management
  • Maintain organized documentation of purchasing activities and supplier contracts.

Requirements

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or similar.imilar. 
  • IT Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data analysis tools (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and/or SAP is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong time-management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
